About Dr. Wright & The Tahoma Clinic
Educated at Harvard University (A.B.) and the University of Michigan (M.D.), Jonathan V. Wright established the Tahoma Clinic in 1973. Bastyr University awarded him an honorary N.D. in 1993.
The Clinic focuses on prevention and individualized treatment of illness using natural substances and natural energies, firmly based on published science and an understanding of how Nature works to keep us healthy and to heal illness. Thirty-five years of experience have shown Tahoma Clinic physicians that a large number of symptoms and conditions which don’t heal with conventional treatment — or are only suppressed by patent medications — often are improved or eliminated with the use of the substances and energies of Nature, from which human bodies are also formed.
Tahoma Clinic Physicians typically conduct a total-health evaluation to assess digestion, assimilation, metabolism, deficiencies, allergies and toxicities.
Many of the natural therapies at Tahoma Clinic are based on scientific studies compiled over the years by Dr. Wright and Dr. Alan Gaby. Dr. Wright and staff maintains an extensive review of available literature and an on-paper and electronic library consisting of over 46,000 published scientific articles to support the Tahoma Clinic treatment protocols.
Tahoma Clinic has two locations in the Seattle, Washington area, in Renton and North Seattle.
